'Girls Only!' is Servant Church's special club... just for girls! Grades K-5 welcome. You do NOT need to attend Servant Church to get your girls involved 🙂
HOW your girls can attend? Just show up... every Wednesday evening at Servant Church of the Abingtons, from 7pm to 8pm. No cost or registration required. (but you may want to give your girls a quarter, as we teach them to be charitable by taking up an offering).
There are 3 'layers' to our club:
- Daisies: Kindergarten
- Prims: Grades 1-2
- Stars: Grades 3-5
Girls who attend will learn how to become a better person by learning how to respond in different aspects of Christian living. (For example, how to maintain true Christian friendships)
Group Goals (Girl code!):
- Show each girl LOVE and acceptance
-Develop each girl spiritually & mentally by teaching them to obey everything Jesus commanded us
- Provide encouragement, support, and accountability through lasting Christian relationships
- Provide an environment for girls to develop their gifts & abilities
- To acquaint them with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
A typical night is packed with fun, friendships, study of God's word, snacks, and games!
'Girls Only!' Leaders: Gina Jayne & Annette Diaz

MOPS is a group just for moms with pre-school age children, meeting every 1st & 3rd Wednesday at Servant Church of the Abingtons from 7pm to 8pm.
Moms are also able to bring their children of ALL ages, and place them in either our fully-staffed nursery, toddler room, young boys & girls activities, or the church Youth Group. We've got you covered!
There is NO cost to attend, and you DO NOT have to belong to Servant Church. It is open to ALL! We invite you to simply 'drop in' and check out our group!
At MOPS, we gather and support moms in the community. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. Our acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” because we began in 1973 when a group of moms with young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys.
QUESTIONS? You are invited to email our MOPS Coordinator, Jackie Corey at firstname.lastname@example.org -OR- call Servant Church at 570-586-8286... See MoreSee Less
GriefShare is an established nation-wide program equipped to offer grief support groups. The program is appropriate for people at any level of faith, or affiliated with any denomination, and contains practical information on how to find God’s strength through mourning & grief.
Although it is hosted at Servant Church of the Abingtons (formerly Clarks Green Assembly of God Church), the program is not affiliated with the church. You do NOT have to attend Servant Church to attend the group that meets there. Additionally, there is no pressure or feelings of obligation to continue week to week - come as you need; leave when you want... which makes it easy for you to 'trial' this program. You may learn more and register for the group at myservantchurch.com/griefshare/
SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT
After the funeral, when the cards & flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues, and you feel alone.
Often, friends & family want to help you, but don’t know how. That’s the reason for GriefShare. Our group consists of caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we’ve been in the same place. We will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future.
“Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
Rev. Ron & Donna Liples
WHAT TO EXPECT
GriefShare is a support group that meets weekly. You’ll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an “oasis” on your long journey through grief. There are three key parts to your GriefShare experience: A Video Seminar, Support Group discussion time, and Journaling in the Workbook.
We understand this is a big step for you. Please feel free to simply ‘test drive’ our group by sitting in on a meeting as a trial run – NO obligation or feeling any pressure to return, if you find the group is not a fit for you. Here’s how to get started…
WHERE: Servant Church of the Abingtons (formerly Clarks Green Assembly of God Church), 204 S. Abington Rd., Clarks Green, PA 18411
WHEN: GriefShare typically meets on Wednesday evenings at Clarks Green Assembly, from 7pm to 8:30pm – ***NOTE: You do NOT have to attend from the beginning... each session is 'stand alone.' Feel free to ‘jump in’ whenever you are able.
HOW: Simply call Louise Cator, Secretary of CGA to inform her of your desire to attend. 570.586.8286 – OR – submit your registration at myservantchurch.com/griefshare/ We’re excited to have you join us!
